The American Meat Institute today publicized resources aimed at educating consumers on proper handling, cooking and storing meat poultry products. September is National Food Safety Education Month.

To do its part AMI released a 60-second radio piece to radio networks and stations nationwide in most of the top 100 markets.  The segment highlights the meat industry’s food safety progress and reminds consumers they are the final hurdle in food safety in the kitchen.
