Barentz, a leading global distributor of life science and specialty ingredients, is pleased to welcome John DeVos as President of our North American Animal Nutrition Division. Jerry Vergeer who previously served as the President of our Animal Nutrition Division in North America will transition to a global advisory role to support strategy and Principal development across the business, supporting the transition.
John joins Barentz from a career in the Animal Nutrition and Food Service Industries serving most recently as the Vice President of Global Sales for Ralco Nutrition. John has extensive experience in developing and executing integrated sales strategies servicing the Animal Health, Animal Nutrition, and Agronomy markets with highly technical, specialized products that deliver functional performance. His background has been built upon leading high performance commercial and technical teams as well as growing businesses with significant operational assets, emphasizing safety, quality, regulatory leadership, and fostering excellent customer service.
