- Our reproductive labs, staffed by dedicated scientists and technicians, work in close collaboration with STgenetics experts to perfect techniques such as sex-sorted sperm and KaryoFlow. These technologies enable precise genetic selection and rapid multiplication of elite genetics.
- Multiple research farms dedicated primarily to in vitro fertilization (IVF) and embryo transfer, along with laparoscopic artificial insemination capabilities, allow us to push the boundaries of reproductive efficiency. These facilities are complemented by dedicated boar studs providing high-quality, high-indexing semen to fuel genetic advancement.

Genetic Technologies
In concert with the work being performed by the reproductive team, there is also work and investment being made into our genetic technologies. Our business revolves around genetic technologies and innovations, which are organized into three core focuses:
- Genomic Evaluation: Through Genetic Visions, an STgenetics owned genomics lab, we use a proprietary, customized panel to genotype all nucleus animals, allowing for more accurate selection of superior animals and increasing the rate of genetic gains.
- Genetic Innovation: We invest in discovering economically important phenotypes to enhance the profitability of our lines by breeding pigs with superior traits.
- Information Systems: Our data platform integrates commercial data to inform animal selection decisions. Within that platform, we’re building a customer-facing platform for decision-making, report reviews, and exclusive AcuFast programs and support materials.
