FF (NYSE: IFF), a global leader in bioscience-based solutions, has announced the opening of its Shanghai Creative Center, set to be fully operational by the end of August 2024. This 16,000 square-meter facility in the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Business Park will be IFF’s largest site in Asia, positioning the company to capture a greater share of the Asian market, including animal nutrition and health sectors.
Erik Fyrwald, IFF’s CEO, highlighted the strategic significance of the new center: “The Shanghai Creative Center will consolidate our capabilities, enhancing our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions for various markets, including animal nutrition. This expansion follows our Singapore Innovation Center launch in 2022 and underscores our commitment to innovation in Asia.”
The center will feature state-of-the-art labs for sensory science, flavor creation, and biotech research, providing a collaborative space for developing novel ingredients and solutions. This facility is poised to support IFF’s efforts in advancing feed additives and bioscience-based products that cater to the growing demand for healthy and sustainable animal nutrition solutions in China and beyond.

With facilities designed for synergy and innovation, the Shanghai Creative Center is equipped with an open-office layout, a culinary demo kitchen, and a digital space for immersive educational experiences.
