The Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (SCAP) has introduced a new On-Farm Efficiency Program tailored for producers, consolidating the benefits previously available under the Farm Technology Program and Efficient Grain Handling Program, now with an added focus on Energy Efficiency.
The On-Farm Efficiency Program provides up to $150,000 in funding across four key areas, each with its own maximum limit:
- Smart Farm Technology: Up to $50,000
- Energy Efficiency: Up to $50,000
- Farm Security: Up to $2,000
- Efficient Grain Handling: Up to $100,000
This funding is available on a cost-share basis at 50%, with eligible purchases retroactive to April 1, 2023.
