On Wednesday, November 16, 2022 Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch will join Heather Hill, Indiana pig farmer and President of the National Pork Board, and Fred Glass, President and CEO of Gleaners Food Bank to make a sizeable ham donation to help feed hungry Hoosiers.
The donation will take place at 2:30pm with comments by Lt. Governor Crouch, Hill and Glass. All will be available to speak to the media after the event. Bruce Kettler, Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director, will also be in attendance for interviews.
The donation kicks off Indiana Pork’s Give-a-Ham campaign, encouraging Hoosiers to give a ham to their local food pantry, favorite charity or a neighbor in need ahead of the holiday season.
The event will take place at Gleaners Food Bank, 3737 Waldemere Ave Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46241. Please plan to arrive early if you need to set up equipment.
