Meet a Real Pork Scholar: Sudário Roberto Silva Junior

Sudário Roberto Silva Junior, a PhD student at the University of Minnesota, is the newest Real Pork Scholar. Originally from Brazil, Sudário has always had a passion for animal science, growing up with pigs, cows, and chickens. His research focuses on maternal programming of the piglet microbiome and mitigating piglet mortality. Sudário aims to become a leader in the U.S. pork industry, driving innovation and sustainability. Congratulations to Sudário on his accomplishments and contributions to the Real Pork Scholars program!
