The Minnesota Pork Board (MPB) recognized individuals and families who have made significant contributions to the pork industry through promotion, education, youth mentoring, and service at the annual Award Recognition Reception on February 10 at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato, Minnesota.

Recognizing Excellence in the Pork Industry
The Distinguished Service Award honors individuals or groups whose contributions have significantly impacted the long-term success of Minnesota pig farmers.

The Pork Promoter of the Year Award acknowledges individuals, couples, or families who have excelled in promoting pork products and the swine industry.
The Swine Manager of the Year Award recognizes a non-owner employee who has demonstrated exceptional management and care of pigs in a production setting.
The Legislator of Distinction Award honors a government advocate who champions the needs of pig farmers and agriculture at the legislative level.
Each of these individuals has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the pork industry and continues to play a vital role in its growth and sustainability.
