South Dakota Swine Summit July 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT.

Join SDSU Extension and the South Dakota Pork Producers Council to learn more about the pork industry at the South Dakota Swine Summit at the SDSU campus in Brookings on July 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CDT.

The South Dakota Swine Summit is open to youth ages 12 to 21 to learn more about commercial hog production and husbandry. The program will include will include information on biosecurity and health, nutrition, basic pig care, showmanship, and meat products, as well as tours of SDSU’s swine facilities and a lunch with producers.
