U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack will join National Pork Producers Council President Terry Wolters for a discussion at the annual National Pork Industry Forum on Thursday, March 9, 2023.
The National Pork Industry Forum is America’s pork producers’ largest annual business meeting. Secretary Vilsack will highlight USDA’s efforts to create more and better markets for the U.S. agriculture sector, including pork producers; bolster the industry’s resilience through support for science, competition, and expanded processing capacity; and create new revenue streams for producers and their communities.Media are invited to hear Secretary Vilsack’s address and attend Pork Act Delegate sessions that are open to the public.
