A Loyola University-New Orleans alumni, Chris Bomgaars is an accomplished entrepreneur, known for his innovative drive and capacity for creating business growth. Upon earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, he ventured into a management position in a logistics startup in Costa Rica, ultimately steering it towards a successful sale.

In his professional journey, a significant chapter was his decade-long service as the Vice President of RC Family Farms, his family’s pork production company. It was during his time at RC where Chris not only accelerated the company’s rapid growth but also cultivated a deep commitment to effecting positive change in the livestock industry.

This first-of-its-kind technology gathers vital, time-sensitive data on pig health and treatments, enabling production teams to quickly identify and respond to animal health issues. This real-time approach revolutionizes an industry that still collects much of this information on paper.

After his successful tenure at RC Family Farms, Chris continues to make a mark in various capacities. He has served on the Board of Directors for Honduras Outreach International, a charitable organization close to his heart that empowers individuals in rural Honduras and Nicaragua.

Chris is proficient in Spanish and has a basic understanding of Portuguese; gained from his time studying at the University of Granada and vast international travel experience. His other interests include skiing and tennis. His trailblazing career journey and diverse interest speak volumes about his dynamic personality and commitment to drive change, both in business and the wider community.
