Ken Maschhoff is a fifth-generation pork producer with the Maschhoff family business near Carlyle, Ill. He is chairman of Maschhoff Family Foods and co-owner and chairman of The Maschhoffs Inc. Ken is a Past-President of the National Pork Producers Council and is Chairman of the National Pork PAC.
Ken received a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Industries from Southern Illinois University (SIU), where he was selected “Outstanding Senior in Agriculture.” In 2005, he received the Service to Agriculture award from SIU’s College of Agricultural Sciences. He is a graduate of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program. He and his wife Julie live on the home farm near Carlyle, Ill., and have four children.
